Scope and agreement
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies whenever you access or use Numbrs, including its website, dashboard, wallet, virtual numbers, gift cards, utility services, APIs, support channels, and any related feature. “Numbrs”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the Numbrs service.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to this Policy and to comply with all applicable laws, payment-network rules, provider requirements, and third-party platform terms. If you use Numbrs for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate account information and complete any identity, business, or payment verification that we reasonably request.
Permitted use
You may use Numbrs for genuine personal or business purposes, provided that you have the necessary rights and permission. Examples include:
- Receiving a verification message for an account or service that you own or are expressly authorised to manage.
- Testing a product, website, or authentication flow where you own the system or have written permission from its owner.
- Purchasing an available gift card for legitimate personal, gifting, employee-reward, or approved business use.
- Funding your own wallet with a payment method you are authorised to use.
- Paying a supported utility account that belongs to you or that you have permission to pay.
Prohibited conduct
You must not use, attempt to use, or help another person use Numbrs for any of the following:
- Fraud, scams, deception, identity theft, impersonation, false representation, or misleading transactions.
- Creating fake, duplicate, or coordinated accounts to abuse promotions, bonuses, referrals, reviews, advertising systems, social engagement, voting, or platform limits.
- Bypassing identity checks, anti-money-laundering controls, age restrictions, sanctions controls, geographic restrictions, account suspensions, bans, or another service’s security rules.
- Phishing, spam, unsolicited messaging, harassment, stalking, threats, extortion, doxxing, or abusive communications.
- Accessing another person’s account, messages, payment details, gift-card code, or personal data without clear authorisation.
- Malware, credential theft, automated attacks, scraping that violates third-party rules, denial-of-service activity, or interference with any system or network.
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, concealment of the source of funds, or transactions involving stolen, counterfeit, or unlawfully obtained value.
- Any unlawful, exploitative, harmful, or abusive activity, including activity that endangers children or vulnerable people.
- Reselling, sublicensing, reverse engineering, exploiting, or commercially redistributing Numbrs services except under a written agreement with us.
Virtual-number rules
Temporary and rental numbers must be used only for legitimate verification and communication needs. You must not use them to:
- Register or control an account belonging to another person.
- Evade a platform’s limit on accounts, phone numbers, regions, eligibility, or promotional participation.
- Circumvent a suspension, ban, identity requirement, or security decision made by another service.
- Pretend to be a person, company, public authority, support agent, merchant, or financial institution.
- Receive sensitive communications that you are not legally entitled to receive.
A third-party service may refuse or block virtual numbers. Numbrs does not guarantee that a number will be accepted by every website, application, merchant, or verification system.
Gift-card rules
Gift cards may be purchased only with authorised funds and for lawful use. You must not use gift cards or gift-card codes to:
- Convert stolen funds, conceal the origin or destination of money, or facilitate laundering or other financial crime.
- Carry out refund fraud, chargeback abuse, code theft, unauthorised resale, or deceptive “cash-out” arrangements.
- Purchase on behalf of an unknown person who pressures you to send a code or claims a gift card is required for taxes, penalties, emergencies, investments, or account recovery.
- Violate the issuing brand’s geographic, redemption, resale, account, age, or product restrictions.
Wallet and payment rules
- Use only a card, bank account, transfer account, or other payment method that you own or are authorised to use.
- Do not initiate a chargeback for a correctly delivered order or knowingly make a false “unauthorised payment” claim.
- Do not split, cycle, layer, or structure transactions to avoid limits, reviews, reporting duties, or verification checks.
- Do not buy, sell, transfer, or rent a Numbrs account or allow another person to use your wallet as a payment intermediary.
- Wallet balances are for purchasing supported Numbrs products; they are not bank deposits and may be subject to product, verification, refund, and withdrawal restrictions.
We may require proof of payment ownership, identity, source of funds, business purpose, recipient authority, or other information reasonably needed to prevent fraud and comply with law.
Account security and personal data
- Keep your password, device, session, verification codes, and account recovery methods secure.
- Tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, an incorrect wallet credit, a compromised code, or fraud.
- Do not share, publish, sell, or misuse another person’s verification message, contact information, or personal data.
- Do not probe, scan, test, or bypass Numbrs security unless you have our prior written permission.
We may process account, device, transaction, provider, and support information to deliver services, secure the platform, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Our separate privacy notice should explain those practices in more detail.
Monitoring and enforcement
To protect users, providers, and the platform, we may review activity and apply proportionate controls where permitted by law. Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Delay an order while payment, identity, recipient, or account information is verified.
- Apply transaction limits or block a product, number, payment method, device, location, or account.
- Cancel an unfulfilled order and return eligible funds through the appropriate wallet or original payment route.
- Suspend or terminate access, remove promotional benefits, and reject new registrations linked to serious or repeated misuse.
- Preserve records and cooperate with payment providers, product providers, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally required or permitted.
Enforcement decisions may consider account history, transaction patterns, provider reports, payment disputes, user reports, technical indicators, and the seriousness of the suspected harm.
Third-party providers and service limitations
Numbrs depends on third-party payment processors, number providers, gift-card issuers, utility providers, networks, merchants, and other services. Their availability, pricing, eligibility rules, delivery times, redemption conditions, and acceptable-use requirements may change.
You must comply with the terms of the relevant provider and merchant. Numbrs may decline or cancel a request that a provider does not support, that conflicts with provider rules, or that presents an unacceptable fraud, compliance, or operational risk.
Reporting misuse and policy updates
If you believe an account, order, number, gift-card transaction, or payment is being misused, contact us through the official support channel shown in the Numbrs application. Include the relevant order reference and a clear description, but never send your password, full payment-card details, or private authentication credentials.
We may update this Policy to reflect legal, provider, security, product, or operational changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised version is published. Continued use after an update means that the revised Policy applies from its stated effective date.
